My husband and I were so excited to start a family after we were married.  We were so excited to announce on Christmas day 2008 that we were expecting.  The next day our lives crumbled.

I had a miscarriage at nine weeks.  We didn’t know what to do.  We were hurt and asking ourselves, Why us?  We were blessed with getting pregnant again and having a beautiful baby girl in October 2009.

We decided to expand our family in 2011.  Everything was going great with the pregnancy.  We went for a scheduled ultrasound and found that our baby boy’s heart had stopped beating.  It was the worst day of our lives.  We didn’t know how to react.  We were both in shock that this could be happening again.

Our precious baby boy was born sleeping in February 2012.  Our lives will never be the same.  The test results showed that everything was perfect with our little boy, and they had no answers as to why his heart suddenly stopped.  He will forever be in our hearts.

Ashlee I also had a miscarriage at 9 weeks on 8/12/08. It was my first and only pregnancy. I was 38 yrs old. Now at 42 my dream of being a mom is quickly fading. I can’t let go of the hurt and disappointment. I fear I never will. I’m glad you were blessed with your little girl. I wish you and your family all the joy in the world.

  2. I am so sorry for your losses. I have also had a miscarriage and a stillbirth. I have said a prayer for you that God would comfort you and that you would hold your babies one day in heaven.

Ashlee, I am very sorry for your loss. I experienced a loss on the same day as well. HUGS, know that I am at the same point as you are 3 weeks later wondering what happened.
